Cities under attack.
On the morning of October 22, Russian forces launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. Missiles hit mainly energy infrastructure facilities. As a result of the attack, 1 451 603 Ukrainians were cut off from electricity in various regions. Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, stated that Russia is trying to provoke new waves of refugees to Europe by attacking the critical infrastructure of Ukraine. On October 22, the Russian military attacked Vovchansk. As a result of the attack, the fire broke out in 2 private houses and an industrial facility. Dnipropetrovsk region. At night on October 22, the Russian invaders attacked Nikopol. As a result, 20 buildings and several gas pipers were damaged. On the morning of October 23, the Russian military attacked Nikopol again. As a result, 5 people were injured, houses, private enterprises and a kindergarten were damaged. Zaporizhzhia region. On the morning of October 21, the Russian military launched a missile attack on Zaporizhzhia. As a result, a residential building, a school and infrastructure facilities were damaged and 3 people were injured.
Foreign policy.
